Please provide a detailed description of your vision. Include colors, mood, foreground/background elements, and any reference images if applicable. My primary mediums are watercolor and gouache, but I also work in charcoal, chalk pastel, and acrylic.
Indicate whether you would like a square or rectangular piece. I create artwork ranging from art cards (2.5" x 3.5") to poster size (18" x 24").
If you need the piece by a specific date, please include that in your request. I typically require at least 3 months’ notice for time-sensitive commissions to allow for consultation, creation, and shipping.
If you have a budget for your piece, please include that in your request. Commission pricing varies based on size, medium, and complexity, and this information helps determine the best approach for your piece.
I create nature-inspired watercolor and gouache paintings that explore quiet moments, tiny creatures, and the little details of nature.
My work is rooted in observation, patience, and a deep appreciation for organic forms and texture.
Each piece begins with an inspiring moment drawn from nature, and photographic references gathered from walks, forests, and everyday encounters. Whether on a hike or walking around town, I'm always searching for nature's smallest animals, novel plants, and tiny ecosystems in action. I work primarily with watercolor and gouache, layering pigment slowly to capture the forms, textures, and colors of the natural world.
I am a Maine-based artist and designer with a background in New Media and Graphic Design. While painting has always been my foundation, my design training informs my sense of composition, balance, and storytelling.
Thank you for supporting independent art and small-batch creative work.
